San Diego State University (SDSU) is a public research university located in San Diego, California.   1. The Presidential Scholarship is the highest academic scholarship offered by SDSU. It is awarded to incoming freshmen who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. The scholarship covers tuition, fees, books, and a stipend for living expenses for four years. Recipients of the Presidential Scholarship also receive priority registration, access to exclusive leadership programs, and mentoring from faculty and staff.
  2. The Weber Honors College Scholarship is awarded to high-achieving students who are admitted to the Weber Honors College at SDSU. The scholarship covers tuition, fees, books, and a stipend for living expenses for four years. Weber Honors College scholars receive a rigorous and challenging academic experience, including small seminar-style classes, research opportunities, and a supportive community of faculty and peers.
  3. The SDSU Merit Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have outstanding academic achievements and extracurricular activities. The scholarship covers up to $10,000 per year for four years. Recipients of the SDSU Merit Scholarship also receive priority registration, access to leadership programs, and opportunities for research and internships.
  4. The SDSU Diversity Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have demonstrated leadership and commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. The scholarship covers up to $5,000 per year for four years. Recipients of the SDSU Diversity Scholarship also receive mentorship and leadership opportunities through the university’s Center for Intercultural Relations.
  5. The SDSU Aztec Achievement Award is awarded to incoming freshmen who have overcome significant obstacles or challenges in their academic or personal lives. The scholarship covers up to $2,500 per year for four years. Recipients of the SDSU Aztec Achievement Award also receive mentorship and academic support through the university’s Office of Educational Opportunity Programs and Ethnic Affairs.
